Orlimar Trimetal HipTi
This old driver has been really good to me. The custom made Orlimar Trimetal technology gives awesome distance and good accuracy if I’m able to keep a consistent swing. It gives me a nice crack when I really connect on it, just so I know that the ball is about to travel 300 yards before it actually does.
This is an older wood and has long been my favorite club (though that has changed now with my new irons). I have great feel with it allowing me to hit it any where from 220 and maxing out around 260. It has great forgiveness, as all Mizuno clubs do.
Mizuno MP 59 4-P
These truly are my babies. I just got them this season and am absolutely in love with them. With the Mizuno award winning Ti Muscle Technology, these irons give me the forgiveness of a full cavity iron in a player’s half cavity design. A miss-hit with these won’t affect the distance or accuracy too much, and connecting on the sweet spot gives an amazing feel. It’s like cutting through butter as you watch your ball hone in on the flag. The low irons are accurate and the higher ones are actually quite easy to hit, something I couldn’t manage with my last set. It’s no wonder why the number one player in the world uses them.
Wilson Staff RM II
There is not much to be said about this old hand-me-down as it is the next item being replaced from my bag. The only thing this wedge has going for it is the fact that I haven’t tried the Titleist Vokey wedges yet so I don’t know what I’m missing out on. I have a feeling that will change soon…
Odyssey 2-Ball White Ice
This is my first mallet putter and I must say, I don’t regret making the switch. The adjustable weights allowed me to find that perfect pendulum-like stroke and the White Ice face technology gives a pure roll.
I prefer Titleist Pro-V1x’s when I have them. You can’t argue with the soft feel and spin these give you around the green. Pair that up with the impeccable distance you can get off the tee, there is no doubt this is the golf ball out there, though I have found that the Bridgestone B330-rx and the Callaway Black Hex have very comparable feel.
Nike Flywire Lunarlon
These shoes are styling and are very comfortable. They are waterproof and have the athletic look that I like in golf shoes. I wouldn’t have a problem walking 36 holes in a day with these on my feet.
