Bunker Mentality – Men’s Line2

golfstarpolo1 Most readers of my reviews know that I tend be drawn to some of the more flashy or trendy clothing on the golf market; so when Bunker Mentality reached out to AGG to test their products I was more than excited. Normally when we talk about golf clothing there are two styles we find, the very traditional and the Loud (LoudMouth or Royal & Awesome); however with Bunker Mentality's clothing line you get a little of both which I really like. One style polo might be very loud with crazy colors and designs, but a traditional look and the next might be very traditional in style and color but very loud with perfectly placed logo's. The best way I could some up Bunker Mentality for our readers, is Bunker Mentality is the Abercrombie of the golf world. That isn't a knock on Bunker Mentality that is just what I think of when I see their line of clothing, very hip and trendy apparel to look good on or off the course. I would expect Rock Stars that love golf to wear Bunker Mentality for their next round.Check Out the Full Review Here

Sub70USA – Otto Shirt0

SHOTPKPL This shirt, as most every piece of apparel made by Sub70, is made from Climactic polyester – a moisture wicking fabric that is highly breathable and very light on the body. The Otto style shirts from Sub70 feature accent colors that line the collar, pocket, and sleeve edges, and are typical of the European athletic fit style. The shirt is designed to look good both tucked in or out, so, as with most golf shirts nowadays, it is versatile enough to be worn on the course as well as most places off. In addition to the black/pink style shirt shown here, the Otto style shirt is available in many different main/accent colors including black/white, white/aqua, burgundy/white, and more. Despite the two colors on the Otto’s, they are far from actual stripes, so the shirt can be worn with striped shorts.Check Out the Full Review Here

Johnnie-O’s – Moisture Wicking “Prep-Formance” Shirt0

IMG_8188 Started in 2004 by John O’Donnell, Johnnie-O apparel defines itself as distinctly “west coast prep” but uses its founder’s experience of having lived all over the US by incorporating the Midwest farmer, east coast prep, and west coast “dude” into their designs. The company initially only made polo shirts, but has since evolved to making belts, hats, socks, sweatshirts, and even all weather shorts (see our review of those here).Check Out the Full Review Here

Martin – Cotton Iisle Golf Polo1

20130810_200930 Yes, you read the title of this review right, a Cotton polo shirt; but before you hit the back button or close your browser this isn't your dads Cotton polo. When I first started playing golf, if it was a 90 degree day you wouldn't think about playing; the heavy cotton polo's were not only hot but they were heavy, and the minute you perspired in them, it felt like you were swimming in a pair of jeans. I still have many of these polo's in my closet and while I am writing this review, I am thinking to myself I am not so sure why because I will never wear them again; I am still amazed when I see them in stores and ask myself who buys them. The one downside to the new polyester blends that have hit golf fashion, is unless you have 0% body fat, the material shows the extra weight.Check Out the Full Review Here

GolfSark Apparel2

logo1 One of my more popular saying on this site is "Look Good Play Good", and while sometimes I throw it around as a joke I do truly believe that if you dress well you will have more confidence and therefore play better. GolfSark is a great new company, taking the classic polo look of this game we love and adding a fun twist to it. If you are tired of the same old golf shirts, GolfSark is for you, they take golfer inspired designs and make fun polo's for the course. A little about GolfSark taking from their website.....Check Out the Full Review Here

Travis Mathew’s – 2013 Golf Polo Collection0

Company Background: Travis Mathew first earned notoriety thanks to its sponsorship of Bubba Watson, which they were when he won the 2012 Master’s. The company, founded by Travis Johnson, has been around for a number of years but only recently has become one of the “hot” apparel companies, mainly due to Watson’s recent success on tour. Watson switched to Oakley at the end of 2012, but Travis Mathew has many other well-known professionals currently on its team: Charley Hoffman, Luke List, Andres Gonzalez, James Hahn, and Patrick Cantlay.Check Out the Full Review Here

Sunice Golf – Silver Collection Black Connor Polo1

I recently was given the opportunity to review the new Silver collection by Sunice; you can find Sunice from the Mount Everest to the 18th hole of your local golf club. They have been in business since 1976 and make quality clothing for the golf course to the ski resort. Some golf shirts are strictly for golf, but the Silver Collection provides the ability for a great quality golf shirt that you can wear to the office, all while being cool, comfortable and looking sharp. The Connor Polo is a four button polo, is with stripping across the chest region and down the short sleeve arms of the shirt; breaking up the solid color and still giving the shirt a very professional feel. You can wear this shirt with shorts tucked or untucked, golf pants or dress slacks tucked in. Using something Sunice calls X-static silver fiber this shirt is very light weight and cool on the hottest of days, and dries very quickly. Check Out the Full Review Here

LoudMouth – Jewel Orange Golf Polo0

Loudmouth Golf is well-known for their outrageous styles and bright colors; the company is aptly-named, since the apparel is “loud.” They have sponsored John Daly for the last couple of years, so if you’ve seen him on TV and wondered where he got that outfit – it’s all Loudmouth!Check Out the Full Review Here

Antigua – Men’s 2013 Summer Collection (Desert Dry Xtra-Lite)0

antigua If you have played golf for more than a year or two, you have heard the name Antigua before; Antigua has been around for more than 30 years in the apparel industry and offers moisture wicking shirts that are very stylish. AGG had the pleasure of reviewing the Desert Dry Xtra-Lite 3 Button Polo shirts, from the summer 2013 collection. The first thing you notice you open the shirt and put it on, is how lite weight the shirt is, some other Golf "Dry-Fit" polo's on the market do a good job of keeping your dry but they seem heavy and bulky.
