Written By: Chris Conley Yes this is a review for a towel, so don’t get to comfortable because it is not going to be long, but it is most definitely a product you need to hear about and get for yourself. When Club Glove sent me a MicroFiber Towel, I didn’t think I would be overly excited to review a towel but after a few rounds I have to say, this towel a game changer. As most who read this blog consistently know, I live in Maryland, and a July or August summer day in Maryland has air so thick you could cut it with a knife. Now take that same moisture in the air and add it to your hands, and try and grip a club, it’s damn near impossible. Glove and Grips are the biggest help to combating this problem but one often overlooked aspect of preparing for a humid Maryland summer round is a good golf towel. Made of a microfiber material these towels dry your hands quickly and then dry fast enough so they are completely dry the next time you need them. The microfiber material is soft enough to clean your glasses but strong enough to scrub the mud off your wedge after you undoubtedly hit grass before the ball and take up a size able chunk of earth it. Measuring in at 17″ x 40″ this towel is perfect size, it has a slit down the middle which allows you to hang it over a club in your bag so it is always ready for use. I hang it over my 4 Iron, simply because I can’t hit my 4 Iron to save my life so I never have to remove the towel from the club. The towel is machine washable and comes with a pocket mini towel which is perfect for wiping off your golf ball on the green, or giving your hands one more quick dry before a swing on the tee box. The other huge benefit of this towel for me over any other golf towel is simply lint, with other golf towels you wipe your club down, you wipe your face down, you dry your hands off or you wash your ball off and there is lint everywhere from the towel, with the Club Glove towel you get no lint just a perfect towel for drying or cleaning. The towel holds 300% of it’s weight in water making cleaning clubs a breeze, it also dries quickly so you can go from cleaning to drying your hands quickly. On their website they offer 11 colors and you can personalize the towel for $10. Again short I know, but it’s a product that needs to be talked about and I highly recommend it, golf is expensive and anytime I come across something cheap that will improve your game or at least help you improve your game I make sure you let you know about it.
