I know the R11 has been out for a little over a year now, but I just picked up a used one at Duke’s Golf in Annapolis and it has done wonders for my game. The R11 I purchased is 9 degrees, has the Fujikura Blur extra stiff shaft, and a corded golf pride white and black grip on it. This club has totally changed my game as I am hitting it straighter and farther then I ever have with any other driver. After about 20 minutes on the range, I found that a closed face and natural loft was the best setting for me. I used to have an awful slice, but now is seems like a gentle fade with this club. I still have to work the ball from left to right to place my shot accurately but I can do it much more consistently with this club.
Some people hate the white club head, and think a black club head has more style. I can't disagree more and think this club looks amazing.
The adjustable settings of this club makes it a high performer for anyone who picks it up, you can really dial in your game with the R11. You do need to make sure you know what each setting does, or you will spend time making changes that will only hurt you.
I got a steal of deal buying this club used for $75 10 months after it came out, but we all know golf is an expensive sport and the R11 doesn't prove that point wrong. This club with the custom shaft would retail for $499, way out of most weekend golfers price range.
I love this club, and would recommend it or the new R11s to anyone, it has totally changed my golf game. I think the style of this club, is great and would love to see all driver manufacturers get away from the standard black design. Let's see some Bubba Watson pink drivers on the market.
